Japan is quite a safe country and people are very kind and helpful. However it would help a great deal if you understand the language a bit.
Let JLS help you to feel ready for Japan.
Yoshiko Märki, the director of JLS, will offer an intensive Japanese language lesson combined with lots of useful information and tips for your next trip to Japan. She will answer or will try finding answers to all the questions you have concerning holiday in Japan.
Program:
1. Icebreaker " How is my name written in Japanese?"
2. Introduction to Japanese language & culture
3. 20 essential Kanjis (Chinese letters) in 30 minutes.
4. coffee / tea break
5. 30 essential expressions in Japanese (greetings, giving directions and ordering food & drinks, etc.)
6. Let's practice! Let's get started!
7. Q & A
8. Kanpai! A small apéro with a glass of sake. Some table manners won't hurt ! (^_^)/
The 2.5 hour course takes place on on Saturdays from 14:30 to 17:00 (incl. a short break) at JLS in Oerlikon.

This course costs 110.-Sfr. per person, including handouts, drinks and sweets.
Minimal No. of participants: 3
Maximal No. of participants: 10
Language: English and / or German (on demand)

JLS will arrange a wide range of seminars and workshops related to Japan for you.
Seminars and workshops can be performed either at JLS (max. 20 people) or any other places of your choice, for example, at your company or at home. (NB. extra travel cost applies)
JLS can also arrange a Japanese dinner at one of authentic Japanese restaurants in Zürich after the seminar / workshop at JLS.
